genting was fun, yes? i had a wondrous time. i shall tell you the highlights of the trip.
1: GENE'S STAGE CRISIS
i was supposed to play the piano accompaniment for 'let the river run' for the friendship concert, so the stage lady told me that the piano's at the bottom and not on the stage. when the choir entered, i couldn't find the stairs. so i looked down the stage and i was tempted to jump down and it must've shown on my fat face because mr firman/furman and mrs lek-- we'll get to that later.
I GOT AN APPLAUSE :D all to myself :D
ms lee complained cos she didn't get one even though she's the conductor.
- almost walked off the stage when we're supposed to bow.
- panicked cos my file was still at the piano when we walked off the stage.
- kranji sec guys were like "wth is wrong with this girl?"
- mr firman/furman, ms lee and mrs lek did a remix of me on stage.
stupid.
2: MR FIRMAN/FURMAN'S SCREAMING
don't know much, but pretty much the whole choir were talking about it.
3: FLYING DRAGON ROLLER COASTER
i was so scared before taking the ride that i went pale. mr firman/furman told me to sit with him, and i did. ms lee and mrs lek told me that sitting with him would make everything a lot better because he'll be screaming his ass off (not quoted).
well, he frickin' did not. i was the one who screamed like a frickin' banshee.
4: MR FIRMAN/FURMAN LOCKED OUT
he locked himself out of the room and went, "what the fish?!"
5: GENE AND SERENA FIGURING OUT HOW TO WORK THE AIRCON ON THE BUS
we took a very long time. the three teachers and a few choir members laughed like they have never laughed before. ms lee went, "what a bimbo". i'm not always like that lor.
serena figured out the aircon thing before me.
i'm going to rest now because i feel like puking. i have no idea why.
"which song ah?" -me
"my file!" -me
"where's the stairs??" -me
"where are her boobs?" (mr firman/furman went all, "you did not just say that") -me
"tell me leh!" -serena
"we are staying at the most tall building" -serena
